Book of Lists: v6

I'm a few days late for this post which was supposed to go up while we were still on our honeymoon so I apologize for the tardiness. I'm still really enjoying making these lists and now that I have a good number of them, it's been really interesting to look back at some of the earlier ones too.

This month's topic was "With me at all times"

As I was thinking of these items I realized that most of them were coming from inside my purse. I guess it fits since I never leave home without it and it's contents plus whenever I'm at home it's within easy access as well. I did try to throw in a few other items as well to mix it up a bit.

Book of Lists: v5

Things have been so insane around these parts that I seriously cannot believe that today is April 1st!!!
With selling a house, buying a house, working, finishing a thesis, trying to enjoy life in San Diego our life lately has been a tad bit busy to say the least. But since today is the first, I took full advantage of this month's Book of Lists topic and was able to slow down a little, taking in the day around me.

This month's topic was "Today I Saw"

Thanks again to Kathleen of Kapachino for hosting!

Book of Lists: v4

March is here which means another edition of the Book of Lists.
This month's topic was "I'm good at"

I liked that this topic allowed me to look into myself and find positives instead of negatives. It's so easy to get trapped in the mindset of I'm not good enough for... I'm not skinny enough for... I'm too busy for... But this month I was able to list the things I personally think I'm good at, without influence from other people and the world around me. I took it both seriously and not so seriously and am actually really happy with my list.

Book of Lists: V3

I'm still taking part in Kathleen's Book of Lists project.
And for February, the topic was "The Perfect Day"

Random fact of the day, Kathleen and I share the same birthday! She picked this topic with birthday's in mind so I decided to go along with her and write down the things that make the perfect birthday celebration for me. And now that the day has passed, this list wasn't too far off. I did have to set an alarm because my birthday fell on a work day and we hit a bit of traffic driving to dinner but that's typical rush-hour for you.

Book of Lists: v2

This post was supposed to go up 3 days ago and I'm not sure when my excuse of "life is CRAZY" will be going to go away. And I promise to update you on what's been making it so nutso around here too. But regardless.....

Its month two for the Book of Lists project!
This month was "Looking Forward"

These were very easy for me to come up with given what's been going on in my life in the past few months. The end of 2012 was everything I ever hoped it would be and 2013 is definitely looking like it's going to be a great year as well.

Did you miss List One?

Book of Lists: v1

I decided about a month ago to start participating in the Book of Lists project.
And about a month ago I was supposed to pick out a little notebook of sorts, something to call mine, something to decorate all cute and fill with lists (if that wasn't obvious) and I was supposed to blog about said-notebook.

And well, it's taken me that long to get things together around here.

Life has just quite frankly gotten in the way, until today. Thanks to Keri for her tweet this morning because it knocked some sense into me that today is in fact December 3rd which means List #1.

 December 3, 2012: Wish List

Also, if you've never used these pens before you need to go get them now! Super fine tip, won't bleed, pretty colors. An office-supply-lover's dream.

I'm playing along with the guidance of Kathleen from Kapachino. You should too!
